Diane Harrison, a watercolor artist, specializes in painting animals and people she encounters in her worldwide travels.
She was born in Cherokee, Iowa and spent her youth growing up in Grand Meadow, Iowa. Diane attended Drake University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in painting. Furthering her love of the arts, Diane received a Master of Arts from Arizona State University.
Making Tempe, Arizona her permanent home, Diane dedicated 30 years of her life teaching art to children in Apache Junction, Arizona.
For five years Diane has been a volunteer for the Phoenix Zoo Auxiliary, and observed the movement, emotion, and feelings of varied protected species, She brings these qualities alive in her paintings.
Diane is a member in good standing with the Arizona Watercolor Association and the San Diego Watercolor Society..
